Kids can be expensive, and they outgrow their clothes and everything else so quickly, leaving your house messy and cluttered. Kiddos Consignment offers a great way to get rid of those unwanted items and earn $$$ in the process.
With hundreds of shoppers coming through the doors to BUY, you can SELL all of your unwanted items quickly at this 5-day event. Sit back and watch the profits roll in.

Gather
Items
We accept almost all gently used baby and kid items. You have it, we want it!
As a consignor you must consign at least 20 items and no more than 500. If you have less than 20 and they are all big items, please contact us and we’ll try to work it out. We accept gently used items that are appropriate for moms-to-be, newborns, babies, toddlers and kids up to the age of 12.
We do have a few rules though.
Please see some of our guidelines below.
CLOTHING
Long and short sleeved shirts, sweaters, sweatshirts, jackets, tank tops, pants, shorts, leggings, jeans, swimsuits, dresses, costumes, outdoor gear and more.
- Items MUST be free of rips, stains, holes and scuff marks.
- Clothes can be sold separately OR as a set.
- Accessories can be sold separately OR can be pinned to an outfit if you feel like it matches with the outfit and will help it sell.
- We take all types of shoes up to a size 8.
- We do accept underwear and socks ONLY if they are brand new and in the original packaging.
- Maternity clothes are welcome. We love helping out our moms to be!
FURNITURE
Yes, we do accept furniture! Dressers, kid beds, cribs, tables, organizers, rockers and more.
- Items MUST be free of nicks, stains, holes and scuff marks.
- Furniture must be assembled unless being sold new in the box.
BABY GEAR
Baby items and gear are sought after items, We take all of it: strollers, rockers, baby baths, high chairs, boosters, bassinets, swings, Bumbos, DocATots, PackNPlays, exersaucers, carriers, monitors, breast pumps and more.
- All items that need batteries must be working at drop off.
STUFFED ANIMALS
Stuffed animals will be accepted but only 5 per consignor at this time.

TOYS & CRAFTS
Legos, building toys, Barbie dolls, dolls, doll houses, tools, dinosaurs, Star Wars, Disney, Nerf, toy figures, LeapFrog, learn and play toys, Blippi, Polly Pocket, play kitchens, all things creative, arts and crafts, puzzles, games any and all toys!
- All items that need batteries must be working at drop off.
BOOKS
We take books but only 10 per consignor. If you have a book series please bundle together and sell as a set.
OUTDOOR GEAR
We love outdoor toys, bikes, safety bike seats, skateboards, hoverboards, cars, pool items, Razors, scooters, roller skates, helmets, safety pads, anything and everything!
CAR SEATS
Must be 5 years old or newer and in excellent condition.
BAGS
Backpacks, lunch boxes and all types of bags are accepted.
OTHER
We accept new diapers, diaper pails and potties. For diapers please package them and display size on tag.
NOT ACCEPTED
- NO food items or formula.
- NO used sippy cups, thermoses or bottles.
- NO used underwear or socks.
IMPORTANT: If any items are too large to fit in a car or SUV, please text a photo of it to 714-466-4453 and get approval prior to drop off. We want to make sure we have room for it.
Please check your items for recalls at CPSC.

Prep
Here at Kiddos we value cleanliness, functionality, and attention to detail. To maintain our reputation for excellence, we rely on you, the consignor, to ensure that your items are clean, in good working order, and complete with all parts. Take the extra time to clean your items and watch them sell faster. Our thorough inspection process ensures only the best items make it to our shelves, providing a great shopping experience. Our commitment to quality means we reserve the right to decline any item that doesn’t meet our standards.
SUPPLIES
When prepping items you will need a few supplies. Please make sure you have all items prior to starting prep.
- Hangers
- Zip Ties
- Ziplock Bags
- Packing Tape
- Safety Pins
- White Card Stock
CLOTHING
All clothes must be on hangers with the front of the clothing facing you, your hanger should look like a number 2.
- Pants can be attached to hangers using safety pins.
- Shoes must be attached together with a zip tie.
TOYS
Toys with multiple items, puzzles or any loose items should be placed in a ziplock bag and secured with packing tape.
GENERAL
Tags for single items can be attached by either masking tape or safety pins. Please use safety pins if possible.
Pricing &
Creating Tags
We use a software application called My Sale Manager or MSM that uses a barcode system to allow us to keep track of your items. Easily input your items into our user-friendly online system to generate a unique barcode tag for each item. Keep track of your sales nightly by accessing data online. A benefit of us using MSM is that returning sellers can reactivate old tags which will save you time.
PRICING
Pricing is easy with just a few simple rules.
- Ensure all items are priced at least $2.00 and rounded to the nearest whole dollar. No cents please!
- When selecting prices, think about what would excite you as a buyer, considering that shoppers will be comparing prices.
TAGGING
Our convenient tagging system makes it a breeze.
- In the first box (description) enter the brand name and a brief description of the item. Be as specific as possible. There is a second box after that if you would like to continue the description or add special details.
- Your final step is to choose a category from the drop down menu. This is important, it will determine where we will place the item within the store with other similar items.
HINT: If it works with the item, write the original retail price on line two. It highlights what an incredible deal shoppers are getting!!
DISCOUNT DAY
On Saturday, we hold our 50% off DISCOUNT DAY to the public. Boost your chances of selling by choosing to mark your items for the discounted sale at half price. Select the option to discount when entering your item and it will reflect on your tag.
HINT: Marking all items for discount increases your sales potential significantly. Often, unsold items on discount day are simply overpriced, so let’s be generous and share them with others who would love and appreciate them. Join us in spreading the joy of great deals while decluttering your home – it’s a win-win for everyone!
DONATE
Donate is your other option when tagging your items. If this box is checked, on Sunday we will donate your item to a charity. Click below to see what charities benefit from your donations. It’s a great way to give back!

Schedule
Dropoff
After you register, please Schedule Your Appointment through MSM. This MUST be done ahead of time, so please schedule a spot ASAP.
Drop offs will be held on Sundays and Mondays before opening day and the location is the same address as the event. Schedule a drop as soon as you register. You can always change it before drop offs begin.
We also require a drop off form when you bring in your items. Please allow time to fill out this quick one page form.
If you are NOT planning on picking up your check on pick up day, please bring a stamped & self addressed envelope to drop off for us to keep on file.
Have all your items ready and tagged for drop off. Everything will be inspected to make sure they are lightly used and/or in working condition. Having everything ready at drop off makes it easy for us to get you in and out fast!
BE PREPARED
A few things to consider for your drop off.
- Bring your own dolly and a way to transport your items.
- Please pack like items together and have your clothing in gender then size order in boxes ready to hang on our racks.
- Did you join our team and volunteer for a work shift? Don’t schedule your drop off the same time as your work shift. Your drop off appointment should be at least one hour before your work shift or after your shift.
- Drop off appointments fill up fast, so act quick to get your preferred time.
RESTOCK DAY
What happens if you find more items you would like to consign but the event has already started? The good news is, if you are a consignor at the current event, you can bring additional items on Restock Day. Just input the additional items, tag and drop them off on Thursday from 10am-7pm.
Pick Up/
Donate Items
When creating your tags you have a choice of either donating your items or picking them up after the event is over. We have partnered with Casa de Kathy located in San Juan Capistrano and Casita de Kathy in San Clemente. They will pick up all donated items at the close of the event. We encourage you to donate your unsold items, there are many local men, women and children that would greatly benefit from your donation. Please click on the link below to learn more about their organization!
If picking up your items, please give yourself plenty of time to find these items on the floor from 9am-12pm on Sunday. Remember to print out a copy of your unsold items list, which can be found on MSM, and bring it with you. This will make it easier to find your items. Unsold items not picked up by 12:01pm will become property of Kiddos Consignment and sold at our Dollar Day event and/or donated to charity. If you’re unable to pick your items up, you will need to make arrangements ahead of time for someone else to pick them up for you. If someone else is sent to pick up your items, they MUST have a note in hand with your consignor number and your signature
DOLLAR DAY
Oh, did we mention, one of the best benefits of being a seller is getting to participate in DOLLAR DAY. This is a flash sale that takes place on pick-up day, Sunday from 1-3pm. This is an exclusive event only for sellers who participated in the current event. All remaining items will sell for $1 and the proceeds will support select local businesses in the form of gift cards or memberships. We will then hold giveaways at future events. At the end of this sale, everything not sold will be donated to Kathy’s House. It’s a win win for every one!
RULES & REGS
- Only registered consignors who dropped off items at the current event are invited to our DOLLAR DAY.
- Everything will be $1 no matter what the item is. Yes, that means you can even grab furniture or a stroller if it’s available for $1!
- All unsold items will be donated.
